Pizza Fund Raising

Pizza Fund Raising
Do you have a passion for making pizza? You can turn that passion into a very profitable side business making over $1,000 per day on a weekend. Or maybe you want to raise funds for your special event or group. Selling pizza can be your answer. This is a very simple business that has helped me get through some tough financial times. First, I want to tell you this is my Mama's recipe and I am going to give it to you for free.
This pan-fried pizza is what Mama made when everyone in my family was hungry and we wanted a fast meal. This is a very tasty pizza that you can mass-produce in large quantities for very hungry crowds of people.

This is not the perfect homemade pizza. The perfect homemade pizza starts with dough that is made properly using special techniques that will enhance the flavor of the crust. If you want your homemade pizza crust to taste like the one you can get in most Italian neighborhoods in New York and New Jersey, you need these secret techniques.

If you search the Internet for pizza recipes, you will find thousands to choose from. I have not found one of these recipes that would help make your pizza an award winning pizza. You must take special care in the preparation of the pizza dough crust. That is the start of an award winning pizza. As you can probably tell by now, I have quite a passion for making the perfect pizza.
Here is Mama's Recipe:
1- package of frozen white bread dough (usually comes 3-4 per package)
2- cans of tomato sauce 16 oz each
1- tsp. of oregano
1 -tsp. of basil
1 - tsp. of sugar
1- tsp. of dried garlic
3- cloves of fresh garlic
3- tbls. of olive oil
1- gallon of vegetable oil
½- tsp. of black pepper
1- cooking temperature gauge
Here is the idea. Where I live in California there are many events that attract large number of people. For example: The Grape Festival, The Strawberry Festival, The Garlic Festival, The Fiddler Jamboree and on and on. I started at the Fiddler Jamboree in Shasta California. I made a nice sign that said PIZZA in big letters. I had a long strong table that was covered with a nice tablecloth because it was old and ugly.
Behind the table were two propane burners with big pots on them, one with vegetable oil in it and the other with pizza sauce. These were similar to the huge pots that they use to boil oil and cook a whole turkey. Also, behind the table was my make shift kitchen staff. Mama cooked the pizza and several friends and my girl friend put the toppings and cheese on the odd shaped pizza and handed it to the server and cashier.....me.
Once the smell of pizza permeated the country air big lines started to form. Another one of my friends volunteered to help serving pizza after he saw that we were not able to handle all the people waiting in line.

My volunteers wished that they hadn't volunteered at the end of the day because being on your feet for 10 hours is not easy. Keep in mind that this was an outdoor event on a very sunny day. I would recommend some type of canopy for shade.
The cooking method:
Heat the oil up in the large pot to 375 degrees. (This is very important) At this temperature this pizza dough will cook in 2-3 minutes and come out perfect. If the temperature is lower your pizza will be greasy.
Thaw out your frozen bread dough the night before and store covered with plastic or in plastic food trays with covers. Each loaf of the pre-made frozen bread yields about 6-8 individual size pizzas. Once you cut your loaf into 6-8 pieces then you flatten them out by hand and drop them into the hot oil for 2-3 minutes.
